Welcome to the Voxn House

Voxn began with a leap of faith.

In 2016, our founder moved to Boise with high hopes and a desire to design apparel. But she quickly discovered something surprising—there were almost no opportunities in Boise for those pursuing fashion. Rather than give up, she set out to create the opportunities she was looking for. What started as a simple need for a platform to share her voice became the seed that would grow into Voxn.

The early days were humble: one computer, a handful of designs, and tags tied by hand. Yet the vision was bigger than the space it started in, and by late 2017, Voxn opened its first downtown Boise showroom to the public.

As Voxn continues to expand, our founder often reflects on where this journey truly began—and the truth is, it began long before Boise.

She grew up in a home centered around luxury craftsmanship. While she set alarms for early morning athletic practices, her mother worked late into the night, stitching gowns with a level of discipline she didn’t yet understand. She thought discipline came from sport—but her mother was quietly teaching her what true commitment, precision, and passion looked like. Without realizing it, she absorbed the artistry of craft one stitch at a time.

For years she was told not to put “family business” on a résumé, as if it didn’t count. Today, she knows it counted more than anything. That upbringing—rooted in luxury, detail, excellence, and heart—became her first education and her lifelong foundation.

She went on to become a high-performing athlete with more medals than she could keep track of, but attention was never the goal. She valued the journey, the consistency, the quiet pursuit of mastery. That same pursuit followed her into design, whether she recognized it or not.

Even with experience under some of the most talented technical designers in performance sport, she spent years feeling unsure of her voice. Only now does she see that her path was never meant to be traditional. It was meant to be built from the inside out: from heritage, discipline, craft, and passion.

Today, that legacy fuels everything Voxn creates. And one promise remains at the heart of our work: no matter how much we grow, we remain true to our core. We stay authentic.

This next chapter is an evolution—years of lessons converging at exactly the right time.

In partnership with our local community, we’ve helped nurture a culture of fashion in Boise. Every purchase supports our mission to bring apparel manufacturing home to Idaho, and each day brings us one step closer.

Now, in partnership with the State of Idaho and local non-profits, Voxn is proud to have pioneered a new industry in the state—creating jobs, offering on-the-job training, and building educational pathways that help Idahoans launch careers in fashion.
