Staying Motivated

Keeping a fitness grind and routine can be difficult especially if you feel unmotivated or you just simply don’t have the drive. According to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, “More than 80% of adults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities.” As a personal trainer and health advocate myself, I find that having comfortable and stylish fitness attire helps motivate me to get into the fitness groove for the day.

Of course it can be hard to find your groove on a Monday morning where you are getting ready for work and trying to get out the door. Perhaps you burned your tongue on hot coffee and forgot your lunch for the day. You had a fun weekend beforehand but it just doesn’t make up for the Monday morning chaos that lasts for the first few hours of your day. People tend to get turned off by a workout routine when it feels like it adds to the Monday morning chaos and it just becomes another chore to check off the list.

Once you decide to start on a good workout routine, you can start putting together everything you need starting with equipment like dumbbells and squat proof leggings. My favorite women's workout clothes can be found at Voxn Clothing, a lovely boutique in downtown Boise. Of course you can shop in store or online in the comfort of your own home. I love to throw together a workout outfit and post a cute gym selfie to inspire others. Find the pieces that fit best to your unique curves and edges and work it out on the gym floor with confidence!
